Charlie White: The Prince of Ice Skating

Charles Allen White, Jr. is an internationally acclaimed ice figure skater, who hails from the United States. He was born in 1987.  Along with his partner Meryl Davis, White has been the holder of the current world record. He holds the world record for the total combined score of free dance and a short dance. He has bagged quite a few awards for his performances in his career like Olympics, World & National Championships and Grand Prix along with both World and National Junior Championships. He had teamed up with Davis since 1997. He has been continuing to do so since then thus making them the longest lasting team for the US.

White started his career as an ice hockey player. He was into skating since the age of five. Before officially partnering with Davis he were both into solo skating as well as ice dancing. Once he teamed up with Davis, he was totally focused into ice dance. His career soared sky-high post his partnering. He won the Bronze in 2006 Junior World Championships along with the Silver Junior Grand Prix in Ice Dancing.

He is the first ever American to win a World Title in Ice dancing. He won the championship four times - 2 gold and 2 silver. He also has won three Olympic medals and five Grand Prix trophies. He has been the national champion from 2009 to 2014. In the NHK Trophy, 2006 he along with his partner was the first American to attain level four for all the elements.
